Responsibilities

- <li>Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications, and prepare blood samples as directed by physicians.</li>
- <li>Maintain a clean and organized examination room, adhering to strict sterilization protocols.</li>
- <li>Coordinate patient appointments, manage patient inquiries, and provide accurate information regarding hospital services.</li>
- <li>Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient flow.</li>

Qualifications

- <li>Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or MA certification preferred).</li>
- <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.</li>
- <li>Strong computer proficiency with experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).</li>
- <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.</li>
- <li>Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.</li>
- <li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.</li>
