Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and examinations
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Administer injections and medications per physician orders
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory management
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Nebraska state MA license or eligibility
- Strong attention to detail and patient focus
