Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect laboratory specimens
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with meticulous attention to detail
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence professionally
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen, or similar)
- BLS/CPR certification from a recognized provider
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
