Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient vital signs, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation and patient scheduling
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile medical equipment
- Handle patient education on treatment plans and medication protocols
- Coordinate with pharmacy and lab services for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
