Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Accurately document medical histories and vital signs in EHR systems
- Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic tests including EKGs, phlebotomy, and lab processing
- Manage inventory and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Schedule patient appointments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced medical setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office
- Strong venipuncture and phlebotomy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Nebraska state MA license or eligibility
