Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals collection, and medical history documentation with precision.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Administer injections, draw blood (phlebotomy), and perform EKGs as directed.
- Manage patient records, appointments, and insurance verification efficiently.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
