Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, heart rate) and patient assessments accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean clinical environment.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Administer injections, perform basic lab work, and handle phlebotomy duties as needed.
- Manage patient flow, including check-in/check-out processes and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff to ensure seamless care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a physician's office or clinic setting.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends.
