Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and health history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Manage Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory of medical supplies.
- Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic lab tests as directed.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide post-care instructions.
- Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a primary care or specialty setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and reliable transportation.
