Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake and vital sign measurements.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams, sterilize equipment, and maintain exam rooms.
- Draw blood and administer injections as authorized by the provider.
- Manage and update patient records in the electronic health record system.
- Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans and medications.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (American Medical Technologists) or RMA (AMT) preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting.
