Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history reviews with accuracy.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle insurance verification.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant License.
- CPR and BLS Certification (ACLS preferred).
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
