Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during visits.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests (phlebotomy).
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
- Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked.
- Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification preferred.
- CPR and BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
