Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history documentation accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.
- Manage and maintain electronic medical records (EMR) efficiently.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and handle incoming calls with professionalism.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens as required.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician practice or clinic setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
