Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and symptoms.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed, and perform phlebotomy when necessary.
- Maintain strict sterilization and cleanliness standards for examination rooms and medical instruments.
- Manage patient records, including updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage front-desk reception duties as needed.
- Handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.) is a plus.
