We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to provide exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Measure vital signs, such as height, weight, pulse, temperature, blood pressure, and respiration.
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as EKGs and urinalysis.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems.
- Ensure examination rooms are clean, sanitized, and stocked with supplies.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and manage front-desk administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
