Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Perform routine vitals, EKGs, and basic lab work as directed.
- Manage patient intake, including updating medical histories and insurance information.
- Coordinate patient appointments and schedule specialist referrals.
- Maintain a clean and organized examination room environment.
- Process billing and insurance documentation accurately.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
