Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures.
- Perform accurate vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests according to protocol.
- Manage patient intake, update Electronic Health Records (EHR), and ensure accurate documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA (National Certification required).
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with EHR software and medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
