Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and EKGs
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) remotely via secure portals
- Coordinate patient scheduling and telehealth appointments
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and supplies
- Administer medications under physician supervision
- Conduct patient education remotely and in-person
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong telehealth communication skills
- Ability to work independently with remote oversight
- Valid California MA certification
