As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our clinical operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, weight, and height measurements.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and minor medical interventions.
- Manage patient intake and check-in processes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean environment.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by licensed providers.
- Maintain and update accurate electronic health records (EHR) and charts.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and prescription refills.
Qualifications
- Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification required.
- CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
