Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and minor procedures.
- Measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and update patient charts accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by providers.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory and order medical supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or completion of an accredited program preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
