Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with clinical procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements, EKGs, and phlebotomy services
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient scheduling and maintain efficient clinic workflows
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Assist with sterilization of equipment and maintenance of exam rooms
Qualifications
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification and state medical assistant credentials
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid Florida driver's license required
