Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccinations per physician protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner)
- Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, and basic lab testing
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow
- Maintain sterile examination environments and inventory control
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA) or eligible
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR documentation systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
