Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and record patient medical history accurately.
- Prepare patients for examination by the healthcare provider, ensuring privacy and comfort.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during exams and minor procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, EKGs, and phlebotomy as directed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) using our advanced systems.
- Greet patients warmly, answer phones, and manage front desk administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant), or NCMA preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
