Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight monitoring.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures.
- Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and filing medical records.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed physicians.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is highly preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Strong computer proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic setting.
