As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in our daily operations, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care while maintaining a welcoming clinic atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection accurately.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment per protocol.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Manage patient flow and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with patients and insurance companies.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or MA preferred (or enrollment in a medical assistant program).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficient with computer systems and EMR software.
