Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and accurate documentation in EHR systems
- Administer injections, collect specimens, and perform basic lab tests
- Schedule appointments and maintain organized patient records
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Coordinate referrals and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification required
