Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake and obtain vital signs.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and ensure a clean exam room environment.
- Handle patient records, scheduling, and insurance verification with precision.
- Collect and process lab specimens accurately.
- Coordinate patient follow-up care and medication refills.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred but not mandatory for high-potential candidates.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
