Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations during overnight hours
- Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation with HIPAA compliance
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment for next-day procedures
- Respond to patient inquiries and triage urgent overnight concerns
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Coordinate patient flow between departments during night shift operations
Qualifications
- MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification maintained throughout employment
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic or Cerner preferred)
- Exceptional phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal overnight supervision
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts as needed
