Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and medication administration
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient flow and prepare exam rooms for overnight services
- Triage urgent patient calls and escalate critical situations appropriately
- Maintain sterile environments and comply with OSHA/JCAHO standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (required) and ACLS preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech experience a plus)
- Exceptional night shift availability and adaptability
- Strong attention to detail and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure overnight scenarios
