Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including patient intake, vital signs measurement, and ECG procedures
- Assist physicians with examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and injections following established protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment per infection control standards
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent certification
- Current CMA/RMA/CCMA certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/ambulatory setting
- BLS/CPR certification and phlebotomy skills
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
