Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vital signs, and preliminary assessments during evening shifts
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures including wound care, injections, and EKGs
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and prepare exam rooms for efficient night operations
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Collaborate with on-call providers and nursing staff for urgent cases
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes overnight
- Colorado state medical assistant license
