Responsibilities
- Administer injections, medications, and wound care under physician supervision
- Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and diagnostic testing
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Update electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Assist with patient intake and discharge procedures
- Coordinate with night nursing and emergency response teams
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
