Responsibilities
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and vital sign assessments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment for overnight procedures
- Assist physicians with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Coordinate patient flow and triage urgent overnight cases
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication regimens
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Minimum 1 year experience in clinical/hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Arizona medical assistant license in good standing
- Exceptional attention to detail during overnight hours
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
