Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during overnight shifts
- Perform vital sign assessments, EKGs, and point-of-care testing
- Administer injections and medications under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment for next-day procedures
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with overnight clinical staff
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced medical setting
- Ohio state certification and BLS/CPR credentials
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
