Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs and patient assessments under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Assist with patient intake, triage, and rooming procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as authorized by the provider.
- Document patient interactions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with the night shift nursing team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
