Responsibilities

  • Perform Clinical Duties: Administer medications, draw blood (phlebotomy), and prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
  • Night Shift Monitoring: Conduct frequent rounds to monitor patient status, ensuring safety and immediate response to any changes in condition during overnight hours.
  • Administrative Support: Manage patient intake, update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately, and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Lab Testing: Process laboratory specimens and perform routine diagnostic tests such as EKGs and spirometry.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is required.
