Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Assessments: Measure vital signs, record medical history, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist Healthcare Providers: Perform basic diagnostic tests and assist physicians during procedures.
- Manage Records: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Administrative Duties: Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and process insurance paperwork.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions on medications and aftercare to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification required.
- Licensure: Valid state Medical Assistant license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) and weekends.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems.
