Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection accurately.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood draws.
- Manage patient records, update EHR systems, and schedule appointments.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Handle patient inquiries and triage needs during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
