Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient vitals including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure examination rooms are stocked and sanitized.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests as directed.
- Update and maintain patient medical records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification (if applicable to facility requirements).
