Responsibilities
- Perform routine vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations) and record patient data accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and privacy.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical procedures and rounds.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, treatment areas, and medical supplies.
- Process incoming patient inquiries and schedule follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively during the night shift.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-volume patient volume.
