Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and patient intake documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer injections and collect specimens under supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Coordinate patient flow between departments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior medical experience necessary
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Valid CPR certification (provided if not current)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to obtain MA certification within 6 months
