Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain medical supplies
- Perform vital signs checks and basic patient assessments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and administrative tasks
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communication
- Collect specimens and prepare lab tests under supervision
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong desire to learn medical procedures and terminology
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
