Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital signs measurements accurately and efficiently.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical instruments and supplies.
- Collect and prepare lab specimens for testing in accordance with strict protocols.
- Update and maintain patient medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care schedules.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered attitude.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new medical protocols and technologies.
