Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk reception area efficiently.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests (phlebotomy training provided).
- Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and charts.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle insurance verification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
