Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process efficiently.
- Assist physicians and nurses during patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary medical equipment and supplies.
- Manage patient medical records and update electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (typing, email, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 lbs).
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus, but not required for this entry-level position.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible hours.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for helping others.
