Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including vitals and medical history collection.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment for patient use.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming calls in a polite, professional manner.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing as directed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn electronic health record systems.
- Strong empathy and dedication to patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred (will train if not available).
