Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital sign measurement, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision
- Administer medications and immunizations under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current CMA/RMA certification or accredited medical assistant program graduate
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Arizona medical assistant certification required
- BLS/CPR certification
