Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations, taking vital signs, and recording medical histories.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient intake, schedule appointments, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Lab & Procedures: Perform basic laboratory tests, prepare specimens, and assist with minor medical procedures under supervision.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized exam rooms and medical equipment.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, answering questions and ensuring patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or RMA-NPA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience working in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
