Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, vitals, and medical history reviews via secure video conferencing.
- Administer basic telehealth assessments and provide health education to patients.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions.
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and prescription refills within the telehealth network.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries remotely.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical or telehealth setting is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner) and computer applications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly to patients.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home workspace.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
