Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and vital signs with precision and empathy.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs as required.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage incoming communications professionally.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure strict sterilization protocols are followed.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and wellness plans.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA) or equivalent.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
