Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during medical procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient communication systems
- Assist with inventory control and sterilization of medical equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- BLS/CPR certification with current expiration date
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Washington State Medical Assistant certification active
